As part of the ‘Make Sunday Special’ initiative, artist Luke Jerram installed a 300-foot water slide on Bristol’s Park Street, its main shopping street. There were 96,573 applicants and only 360 tickets available to the lucky few, with 65,000 attending the event. It was an unforgettable day and our video helped raise awareness on an international scale.
We turned around our video of the event within twenty-four hours, from the start of filming to the finished product uploaded to YouTube. We used a five man crew and secured 160,000 views within the first week, gaining international publicity and over 250 embeds. There were over 350 pieces of video and written news about it, and our video was the most viewed of those by far.
